We help the brave create a better world.
DevelSeed is a closed network of co-investors backing exceptional founding teams at their earliest stage.
A private investment club.
Not a fund.
Five partners, external advisors, one table
Five founding partners co-invest personal capital in every single deal, alongside a private network of members. No external capital under management, no discretionary mandates. And we like to roll up our sleeves — putting our expertise to work for every team we back.
Your first steps, backed
We assist early founders in their first steps and back people with ambition: capital to reach your first startup rounds, and smart money alongside it — defining business strategy, supporting management, validating with our network, and helping you land your first clients and suppliers.
Depth over volume
Few operations, deep diligence. Every thesis rests on one load-bearing assumption — our job is to find it, stress it, and only then talk valuation. When we commit, we stay close: real follow-up, every quarter.
What we bring
to your table.
-
Sector expertise, at your disposal
Engineering, legal, finance, operations, product, sales — different backgrounds around one table, and one shared goal: putting that knowledge to work for founders who want to change the world.
-
Experience across companies
We've built, run and transformed companies of very different sizes and industries. We know what the journey looks like from inside — including the parts nobody puts in the deck.
-
Clients, suppliers and risks
We open doors to first clients and suppliers through our network, and we help you see the operational, legal and market risks before they find you.
-
Skin in the game, in a closed network
The founding partners invest their own capital in every operation, alongside a private, invitation-only network of members. We never ask anyone to take a risk we haven't taken first — co-investment is an act of mutual trust, not a financial product.
Startups we've
backed.

Does your startup fit?
We're direct: we receive many applications and move forward with few. Here's how the process works — 4 steps.
Selection
We review every application personally. If there's initial fit, you hear from us within 5 days.
Pitch
One working session with the partners. No theatre — we want to understand the problem, the team, and the numbers.
Decision
Focused diligence on the assumption your thesis depends on. Then a clear yes or a clear no. Never a maybe.
Follow-up
If we invest, we stay involved: quarterly follow-up, sector network, and support when it matters most.
What we look for
Preseed or seed stage
With initial traction: first customers, letters of intent, or incipient MRR. We don't fund ideas alone.
B2B or B2B2C models
We prefer contracts, recurring revenue, and retention that can actually be measured.
Teams that know the problem from inside
Your understanding of the pain matters more to us than the CV of the founding team.
European base
Spain and Portugal first. We value pan-European vision — or LATAM expansion from a solid base.
This is us.
We partner with entrepreneurs across sectors who share a common ambition: solving meaningful problems through innovation and bold thinking.
